Marshall Browning Hospital Welcomes New Surgeon

Du Quoin, Illinois – July 19, 2023 - Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin is excited to welcome new general surgeon, Isaac Lowe, M.D.

“We are very excited to bring high-quality, personalized care to the patients in Perry County,” said Dan Eaves, CEO.
“Dr. Lowe is an experienced board-certified general surgeon who also completed a peripheral vascular fellowship. He shares our philosophy of providing compassionate care to our community. He will be full-time, and patients will have access to surgeries that they may have previously had to travel out of town to receive.”

Dr. Lowe is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed a Surgery Residency and Peripheral Vascular Fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He will offer a wide range of surgical services including hernia repairs, abdominal surgeries, advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures including gallbladder removal, appendectomies, bowel resections, and acid reflux surgery, as well as breast surgery, colorectal surgery, colonoscopies, skin lesion removal, thyroid surgery, and wound care and repair.

“Dr. Lowe is a wonderful addition to our medical staff, and we are very fortunate to have his surgical skills available at our hospital,” said Eaves.
