Marshall Browning Medical Clinic
The Marshall Browning Medical Clinic is located on the southwest corner of the hospital campus. It is a Rural Health Clinic which offers the healthcare services of three providers.
Dr. Gladstone Tucker
Dr. Tucker is an internal medicine physician specializing in the treatment of older adults. He believes in patient care involvement, kindness, compassion and clinical care excellence. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and completed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine. He is the Chief of Medicine at Marshall Browning Hospital, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at SIU -C, and cares for many patients in area nursing homes. He enjoys teaching and regularly has a medical student observing in his clinic. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Certified Medical Director with the American Medical Directors Association.
Danielle Klump, FNP
Danielle is a board certified family nurse practitioner, trained in diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of routine to acute illnesses. While addressing your general and specific health concerns, Danielle also administers wellness checkups, school and DOT physicals. Danielle treats both children and adults with special interests in cardiology. She and her husband, enjoy spending time with their son. In her free time, she manages her husband's trucking business.
Heather Rice, PA-C
Heather is Physician Assistant and has been caring for residents of Perry County in a family setting for over 10 years. Her background includes performing well child and well adult physicals, gynecological exams, and treatment of chronic conditions with special interest in women's health. She is a native of Sesser, Illinois and she and her husband, Ben, enjoy spending time with their two children.
Amy E. Gerwe, M.D.
Dr. Gerwe is an internal medicine - pediatric physician who is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Gerwe treats a wide spectrum of illnesses in adults and children. She has experience and special interests in combating obesity in children and adolescents. Dr. Gerwe is a native of Johnston City, Illinois and always knew she wanted to return home to live and work in southern Illinois. She and her husband, who is a pediatrician, enjoy raising their children in southern Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, reading and drawing. Dr. Gerwe is eager to establish a relationship with her patients and become a trusted member of their healthcare team.
