Marshall Browning Hospital Welcomes Orthopedist

Du Quoin, Illinois - August 15, 2016 - Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Jeffrey McIntosh to the growing list of specialists in their Specialty Clinic service.

Dr. McIntosh is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who practices at the Neuromuscular Orthopaedic Institute in Mt. Vernon. He will see patients every Friday morning at Marshall Browning Hospital beginning August 26.

In practice for 30 years, Dr. McIntosh earned his degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and practices at Crossroads Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Good Samaritan Surgery Center, and has an orthopedic clinic at Salem Township Hospital.

Dr. McIntosh was awarded the Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2011, Patient's Choice Award in 2012, and 'Best of the Best' Surgeons in 2014 by the Mt. Vernon Register. He treats patients for a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and specializes in sports medicine and general orthopedics. He has 30 years experience in ACL reconstructive surgery, carpal tunnel release and other nerve decompression, disorders of the elbow including tennis elbow and golfer's elbow, disorders of the hand and wrist, total hip replacement, knee, shoulder and ankle arthroscopy, total and partial knee replacement, knee replacement revisions, rotator cuff surgery, shoulder fracture and dislocation treatment, and trigger finger release.

Dr. McIntosh is an avid Navy fan having two children at the United States Naval Academy.
