Brittany Clark Receives Hospital Scholarship



Du Quoin, Illinois - July 14, 2016 - Marshall Browning Hospital recently named its 2016 healthcare career scholarship recipient. Brittany Clark, Du Quoin High School senior, will receive $1,000 each year for four years. She was selected from a group of nine applicants.

Clark is the daughter of Doug Clark and Kelly Tripp of Du Quoin. She plans to attend Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and will major in Biomedical Engineering.

"Brittany is an outstanding student and has a bright future ahead her," said Don Hoffman, Chairman of the Marshall Browning Hospital Board Scholarship Committee.

Marshall Browning Hospital has now awarded $1,000 per year for up to four years to eight outstanding students who excelled in academics and are pursuing careers in healthcare.

The hospital scholarship is offered annually to demonstrate the hospital's commitment to local healthcare and its youth, and also to inspire and encourage students to dedicate their lives to helping others."
