Marshall Browning Hospital to Host FREE Dinner & Seminar

Du Quoin, Illinois - August 11, 2016 - If you've never heard of the term Swing Bed, you're not alone. But, it's never too late to discover a recovery option that has helped hundreds of patients and has a variety of benefits. One of the best benefits is recovering from an illness or accident where you are close to family and friends.

Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin invites you to a free seminar on "Swing Bed Care" on Tuesday, August 23 at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided. Chrystal Manning, MSN, RN,Medical-Surgical Nurse Manager/Staff Development, will present the program as well as staff from Marshall Browning Rehab. You will also have the opportunity to meet a swing bed patient and ask questions about their experience.

If you find yourself needing time to recover from a surgery, illness or injury, the Swing Bed Program allows you to recover in a hospital setting, versus a nursing home. In the hospital, you have easy access to nursing care and therapy. Marshall Browning Hospital's Swing Bed Program is designed to assist you or your loved one in becoming as independent as possible before going home.
