Marshall Browning Welcomes Dr. Patrick Riley

Marshall Browning Hospital is pleased to welcome Patrick L. Riley, M.D. to its active medical staff beginning July 2006. Dr. Riley, a Campbell Hill native, opened his medical practice at the Rea Clinic, located at 119 Gas Plant Road, Du Quoin on July 10, 2006.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Missouri, Riley attended the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri and completed a Community and Family Medicine Residency, Operative Obstetrics Track, at Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Medicine, Belleville, Illinois.

Dr. Riley was the Chief Resident for the SLU Family Medicine Residency Program in 2005-2006 and received the Intern of the Year award from the SLU Family Medicine Residency Program in 2004.

Dr. Riley is married to Terra and has three sons.

Marshall Browning Hospital CEO William Huff said, "We are so very pleased that Dr. Riley chose to return to southern Illinois to set up a practice. We're confident that Dr. Riley will make a great addition to the Marshall Browning Hospital Medical Staff and the community will no doubt benefit from having another family practice physician in the area."

A community reception to welcome Dr. Riley to Du Quoin is being planned for Thursday, July 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Rea Clinic.
