MBH Golf Classic Huge Success


Marshall Browning Hospital's 6th Annual Charity Golf Classic, held on Thursday, June 7, was a huge success for the patients served by Marshall Browning Hospital.

The scramble was held at Red Hawk Golf Club with 111 golfers in attendance. The scramble raised over $13,000 to assist with the purchase a new Automated Medication Administration System for the hospital.

The winning team included Kurt Provart, Greg Wilson, Josh Wilson, and Bill Wilson, with a score of 56.

Prizes were awarded to the 7th place team sponsored by Eisenhauer General Contractors and included Steve Eisenhauer, Bill Eisenhauer, Kent Eisenhauer, and John May. Prizes were also awarded to the 13th place team sponsored by J. F. Electric and included Larry Noble, Kyle Rickey, Pete Noble, and Barry Motckya. The 'funnest foursome' was awarded to Alberici Healthcare consisting of Mike Dolan, Scott Menkes, Tom Stewart, and Demon Parker.

Winner of the Longest Drive on hole #13 went to Matt Pool, Closest to the Pin on hole #3 was Al Thongsithaving, and Longest Putt on hole #8 was awarded to Henry Justice. Winner of a beautiful St. Louis Cardinal jacket donated by Chad and Michelle Williams of St. Joseph, Missouri was Wayne Corzine. Winner of the 50/50 was Jeff Bash and winner of the Skins Game went to the Wilsons/Provart team and Banterra Bank team.

Vogler Motor Company of Carbondale generously sponsored Hole In One prizes including a new 2007 Ford Mustang, autographed print collection from golf artist Marci Rule, 3 Day/2 Night Vacation package to The Peabody in Memphis, and 3 Day/2 Night Vacation package to Treetops Resort. There were no winners of the Hole In One contests.

Marshall Browning Hospital would like to thank those who supported the 6th Annual Charity Golf Classic by playing on a team and the area businesses for their generous support of hole sponsorships and door prizes.
