MBH Becomes "Smoke Free"


As the healthcare leader in our community, the Marshall Browning Hospital Board of Directors took a huge step toward improving the health of the employees and community by eliminating tobacco products anywhere on the hospital grounds or parking areas. The decision became efffective April 16, 2006. Smoking or chewing tobacco is prohibited on the hospital campus, including cars.

Hospital CEO, William Huff, stated as healthcare leaders, we must set the example and be tobacco free. We know that this policy can make a difference in the lives of our employees and in our community if we all work together.
