Marshall Browning Hospital Welcomes Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner

Du Quoin, Illinois – December 11, 2025 — Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin is excited to welcome Anne Miller, FNP-BC, who will open a gastroenterology clinic in January.

Miller is affiliated with Deaconess Illinois Clinic and will begin seeing patients in a Gastroenterology Clinic at Marshall Browning Hospital every Thursday beginning January 8. Miller will focus on diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastroenterological conditions, including abdominal pain and bloating, acid reflux (GERD), constipation and diarrhea, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), nausea and vomiting, unexplained weight loss, and food intolerances and sensitivities.

Miller earned her Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Chamberlain University. “We are excited to bring an additional Gastroenterology clinic to Marshall Browning Hospital. We know there is a great need in the community, and we’re pleased to have someone who brings a wealth of experience and commitment to improving patient outcomes,” said Stephanie Hall, Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Clinical Services.
